Curriculum at FAU

Since i was little i liked architecture; i loved appreciate the design of the cities, houses and buildings, but i was also interested in other things like natural phenomena and the behavior of the Earth and the universe. In fourth year of high school i had doubts between Geology, Civil Engineering an Architecture, but i finally decided to study this beautiful art and one of the main reasons that definitely pushed me to enter to FAU, was the curriculum of the career, especially the curriculum of the first two semesters.

I always have loved maths and geometry, so i enjoyed so much the past semester, and now i am trying my best to pass physics, that although it was my elective last year, it has been difficult for me because i have no time to study enough. I also like the humanist area and everything that has to do with the history of the architecture. In general, i really like the curriculum of the career and i think it is one of the best things of the faculty.

If i could change something of the curriculum, i would add a course of digital programs because these are things that nobody teach us and are necessary for our projects. I would also put less workshop hours a week because it takes time to focus on theoretical classes, and it makes the curriculum so exhausting. I really like this career, but i also think it is one of the most weary. At this point of the year i just want to rest and sleep for a week.
